Adam graduated from Hull York Medical School in 2010 and completed his clinical training in family medicine and acute medicine in Newcastle and Manchester. He is a published author in clinical telemedicine, author of the Handbook of Remote Consultations (2020), accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners, and co-author of the BMJ Learning module on remote consultations for UK family doctors.
Since 2019 his practice has been concentrated in digital health, designing asynchronous care flows that apply real clinical judgement at the scale digital channels allow. The Holiday Doctor, alongside the sister service Nivelta operated by the same legal entity, is the expression of that conviction in the Spanish market.
Adam is the sole prescriber for The Holiday Doctor at launch. Every consultation is reviewed by him personally; consultations may, in time, be reviewed by other UK- and Spain-registered doctors in the team.
